- I grabbed the SGI CD-ROM catalog from sgi.com and unpacked it onto a
- Minix partition (1700 files or so...), when I then did an fsck I got
- a million bad filenames. (BTW there are many names > 14 chars in this
- archive).

- I looked briefly at the source and it looks like when it prints out a
- bad name it applies a length limit to the printf, but not to the badname
- function... could this be the cause?
